Description
2026 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RC
MV Agusta Brutale 800 RC
The New Brutale 800 changes completely to remain loyal to itself, and to its ability to amaze and conquer new generations of enthusiasts. Style, engine, equipment and chassis are all called into question again with the aim of creating the best Brutale of all time.
Today, fifteen years after its first appearance, the New Brutale 800 is once again taking on the future. Fully redesigned and yet still tied to its origins, the New Brutale 800 is more effective on the road, delivers more efficient performances and it is naturally more beautiful.
With a new take on its proportions, modelled on more sculpted shapes and focused on the front end, the New Brutale 800 enhances the reinterpretation of the main stylistic features, such as the elliptical shape of the headlamp, now a Full LED, and the three-pipe exhaust, with increased shape and capacity (+ 3 litres). At the heart of the new style, however, there is the futuristic frame of the saddle chassis in light alloy, which blends in with the trapezoidal tank (capacity 16.5 litres), integrated with the air box and providing greater definition and aggression.
From an aesthetic point of view, the design of the New Brutale 800 reveals a constant search for symmetry, also in the colour, the creation of the footpeg mounts, the ducts and the front headlight supports. Some of the brand new features on the New Brutale 800 include its double saddle and concealed passenger handles. The instrument panel has also changed, with a new handlebar and the addition of the clutch pump and the related tank which raises the quality of the area, thanks also to the renewed digital instrument panel and electric switches.
The RC (Reparto Corse) Project
The RC (Reparto Corse) project stems from the long-standing bond between MV Agusta and top-class racing. The extension of the range is a logical outcome of that bond as it allows motorcyclists to choose models that are, technically and stylistically, derived the MV Agusta bikes that compete in national and international races. However, these are not mere replicas. They are, rather, meticulously re-engineered bikes, designed to provide a perfect blend of dynamic performance, personalisation and style. It should come as no surprise, then, that the three-cylinder Brutale 800 RR joins the RC range.
Heir to the four-cylinder Brutale that created the naked supersport segment by setting new performance and style standards, this bike has already garnered outstanding market feedback, paving the way for a successful future. Compact yet comfortable, essential yet bristling with unique details, light yet capable of breath-taking performance, the Brutale 800 RR offers the perfect platform for an RC model.
Engine & Performance
The original in-line three-cylinder engine has undergone further development since 2016, the goal being to improve power delivery while remaining within Euro 4 noise and emissions limits. Sweeping changes – from the cylinder head to mechanical chain tensioner, from camshafts to valves – have further enhanced the unique personality of the engine. A maximum power of 140 hp at 12,300 rpm and a maximum torque of 87 Nm at 10,100 rpm place the Brutale 800 RC at the top of its category.
Both technology and style embrace the Reparto Corse ethos. The former is evident in the kit that will be supplied with every Brutale 800 RC manufactured at Schiranna. Only 350 bikes will be built, each with its own unique number on the carbon fibre cover that protects the compact digital instrument cluster.
The end pipe and manifold, supplied by SC-Project and designed to enhance the power delivery of the three-cylinder engine, underline the hi-tech pedigree of the Brutale 800 RC while adding eye-catching style: the titanium and carbon fibre end pipe body features an exhaust area protected by a perforated circular guard that also acts as a heat shield. The kit includes a engine ECU mapped for the SC-Project exhaust, boosting bike performance to an exceptional 150 hp at 12,800 rpm as well at dedicated traction control settings.
Style & Equipment
Styling is as per the entire RC range, inspired by the graphics and colours of the F4 which has been successful in the World Superbike Championship. Needless to say, the number 37 on the fairing pays homage to the racing history of MV Agusta and its 37 world championship titles. Technical sponsors' logos are applied to various parts of the bike, featuring on the tank, side fairings, sub-fairing and front mudguard.
Pirelli provides Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres as standard (120/70 ZR 17 and 200/50 ZR 17) while the Reparto Corse wording is also displayed on the forged, red-painted wheels, the same as those on the prestigious F4 RC. The front mudguard spoiler, the rear mudguard, the tank side panels and instrument cluster fairing are all made of carbon fibre. Exclusivity is also evident on the seat, with both the rider and passenger sections sporting dedicated RC graphics.
Standard equipment includes the Reparto Corse kit. Contained in a beautifully crafted wooden case, it consists of the exhaust, engine ECU, Ergal clutch and brake levers, bike stand and a certificate of authenticity.

The ALS steel tubing frame is incorporated with light aluminium alloy clamps in the rear area of the pivot of the single swingarm.
-
The Marzocchi fork has 43 mm diameter upside aluminium forks with a travel of 125 mm: which is 1 mm more than the Sachs shock absorber, which is tethered to the single swingarm. The brake system is Brembo throughout, with a pair of 320 mm diameter front floating disks and brake callipers with four pistons, whilst at the rear a twin piston calliper acts on a 220 mm disk. The Bosch ABS 9 Plus completes the picture, guaranteeing safety and performance on any road surface.
